Run For Shelter - Race Rules

There must be some method in the madness...


The Run for Shelter team and FCCAU would like to remind
our guests of the following regulations: 

 

Amenities

First Aid and Medical Support
All paid entrants receive a 2009 short sleeve race t-shirt
Race awards at FCCAU Welcome One Center after the race
All entrants are eligible to win random prizes, but must be present to win

Please see the Run for Shelter Race Route for overview
Also, please follow the direction of race volunteer staff

This is an RRCA event:  NO PETS, HEADPHONES, SKATES, SKATEBOARDS, BABY JOGGGERS OR STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED IN THE RACE.
Exception:  strollers permitted for 2k "Fun Walk" entrants

Prize Drawings

Must be present to win
Random prize drawings will follow the race
Award ceremony and prize drawings to be held at the FCCAU Welcome One Center

Teams

Each team must consist of four registered runners
The top three race times of the team's members will be averaged for the team's overall time

Entry Information

Minimum Donations
$20 if postmarked by 3 April 2009
$25 for all entries after 3 April 2009, including packet pickup & race day

Race Packet Pick-Up and Registration

Pre-race packet pick-up and registration will be held at:  Charm City Run, in Bel Air on 8 May from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Race packets can also be picked up on race day (9 May) near the
FCCAU Welcome One Emergency Shelter between 8:30 and 9:15 a.m
.

 

Race Day Registration

Registration on May 9th will be held at the FCCAU Welcome One Emergency Shelter beginning at 8:30 until 9:15 a.m.
You must be a registered runner or walker to be eligible for random prizes, cash awards, and t-shirt
SHIRTS AND SIZES ARE NOT GUARANTEED
